Stephanie Ferguson, MSE, LPC, NCC, CCMHC

As human beings we need connection with others, yet so often our negative experiences cause us to fear and withdraw from vital connections. Connecting with and helping others is my passion. My genuine, empathetic and relatable personality helps to build trust among clients, while providing a safe, compassionate and understanding space where people are heard and seen. Through my own struggles, I understand how difficult it is to express your deepest thoughts, feelings and fears; I want you to know I am there with you every step of the way. You are not alone.

Danel Burchby, LCSW

Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” I applaud you in taking the first step to be your best self.

I work with adults experiencing depression, OCD, phobias, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, family dysfunction, grief and loss, trauma, and individuals touched by adoption. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the key to successful therapy and I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment and develop a trusting and collaborative relationship with each of my clients. I am passionate about helping you use and build your strengths to overcome barriers to meet your best potential so you can better prepare and take charge of your life

Kari Meyer, LPC, SAC

I believe the darkest parts of us hold our greatest treasures.

So many of us spend much of our time focusing on what is “wrong,” perceiving parts of ourselves as undesirable or defective. I challenge people to see themselves through a more compassionate and empowering lens. I work to help others gain acceptance of what is and draw closer to that which they avoid. I accompany people in facing their darkness and finding meaning and movement in their suffering. My goal is to assist people in gaining more freedom, more acceptance, and more presence in their daily lives.

Tamiqua Handschke

I graduated from South University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  My experience includes using Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help my clients build awareness and promote positive change.  The warmth and compassion I embody provides the safe environment that is needed to explore the most vulnerable parts of oneself.  I like to view therapy as a journey of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Maggie, Certified Therapy Dog

Maggie is a female Labradoodle which also means she is hypoallergenic and doesn’t shed. She can sit, stay, shake hands and give high fives and can even turn the lights off when told.  She does a little bit of yoga on command and loves to be petted and cuddled.  She is a bit sassy, always gentle and everyone who meets her falls in love.

Cash, Certified Therapy Dog

Cash is a male Labradoodle which also means he is hypoallergenic and doesn’t shed. He is Maggie’s pup so he was born into the world of therapy!  Cash has a personality bigger than life, and there is nothing he loves more than being at the office and meeting people.  He is a combination of fun, love and compassion all in a furry little bundle.  He loves to play, to be petted and cuddled.
